Job Responsibilities:
• Evaluate merchant applications and perform risk assessments
• Analyze commercial & consumer credit reports
• Review tax returns and financial documents
• Investigate credit data to determine risk level
• Communicate decisions and request additional information from merchants
• Perform merchant verification calls when required
• Identify fraud or reputation risks using internal/external sources
• Ensure compliance with banking policies and regulations
• Provide excellent customer service within SLA
Required Skills:
• 1+ years in underwriting / risk / compliance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of financial statements and reports
• Familiarity with CRM and underwriting tools
• Good communication (verbal & written)
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Ability to multitask and work independently
• Strong internet research skills
Preferred Skills:
• Banking / Consumer Banking / Mortgage / Lending Operations / Commercial Banking
