We are looking for a QA Engineer with 2–3 years of experience to join our Agile development team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the end-to-end quality of web and mobile applications.
This role requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a passion for identifying critical defects. While your initial focus will be on functional/manual testing and release activities, you will gradually contribute to automation initiatives and enhance your automation expertise.

🎯 Key Responsibilities
1️⃣ Test Design & Execution
Analyze product requirements and user stories to design and maintain comprehensive test cases and scenarios.
Perform Functional, System, Integration, and Regression testing across web and mobile applications.
Conduct Exploratory Testing to uncover unexpected defects and usability issues.
2️⃣ Automation Contribution
Execute existing automation test suites and analyze failures.
Assist in creating and maintaining basic automation scripts under senior guidance.
Gradually transition into handling automation alongside manual testing.
3️⃣ Defect Management
Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA (or equivalent).
Collaborate closely with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes.
4️⃣ Process & Technical Validation
Perform API testing using tools like Postman.
Write and execute SQL queries for backend data validation.
Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
5️⃣ Work Allocation Focus
Initially focus on release activities and functional testing (8–12 months post onboarding).
Progressively take ownership of both manual and automation testing in parallel.
🎓 Required Qualifications
✅ Experience
2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing.
✅ Methodology
Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
✅ Automation Aptitude
Willingness and ability to quickly learn scripting languages (Python / JavaScript / Java).
Basic understanding of automation concepts and CI/CD pipelines.
✅ Technical Foundation
Working knowledge of SQL queries.
Experience with API testing using Postman.
✅ Tools
Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA.
✅ Soft Skills
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
Proactive quality-focused mindset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
🌟 Nice-to-Have (Preferred Skills)
Experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
Familiarity with Git (version control).
