🚀 Job Overview

DXC Technology is hiring an experienced Analyst II – Business Process Transactions to join its Finance Operations team in Chennai.

This role focuses on Record to Report (RTR) / General Ledger (GL) accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and process optimization within a dynamic global environment.


🎯 Key Responsibilities

Perform General Ledger accounting, including journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustments

Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities

Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS

Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

Handle intercompany accounting and reconciliations

Ensure compliance with SOX controls and internal policies

Analyze financial data and explain variances

Maintain accounting documentation and audit readiness

Support process improvements, transitions, and standardization initiatives

Collaborate with AP, AR, IC, Tax, and other finance teams


🛠 Key Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of general accounting principles

Hands-on experience in Record to Report (RTR) / GL accounting

Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP

Reporting tools: Hyperion & Power BI

Advanced MS Excel skills

Ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently


📋 Essential Job Functions

Execute business process transactions with accuracy and adherence to procedures

Collaborate with senior analysts and managers

Assist in process improvement and data analysis initiatives

Identify bottlenecks and maintain quality standards

Ensure compliance with procedural guidelines

Contribute to documentation updates

Support performance targets and quality benchmarks

Participate in training and development programs


🎓 Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance

4 – 6 years of experience in RTR / Finance Operations

Basic Qualifications

Proven experience in business process transactions

Proficiency in business process management and optimization

Continuous learner with up-to-date industry knowledge

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree in a relevant field (plus)

Certifications such as Six Sigma or PMP (plus)
